Industry, irrespective of sector, has a tendency to design components and systems for the production phase, not necessarily so for the installation and commissioning phase. In addition, the logistics of bringing the component or system into place for subsequent installation, often require tools and skills that require experience and creativity.
For AAK engineers, installation planning is a discipline in itself. A discipline at the crossroads between theoretical knowledge and practical insight. We regard installation planning as a time- and cost saving exercise. Done correctly, installation planning minimizes use of time and personnel, cuts required resources and make sure that the project is concluded in a more controlled fashion.
A well planned job should also have the benefit of better HSE, as early planning gives leverage for safety thinking in design and choice of methods.
